Tanks for Sale Due to a Pulp Mill shut down, International Tank & Pipe Co. has two large unused Wood Stave Tanks for sale that were intended for acid storage and sulfite liquor storage. These two tanks are the same size and have the following specifications: 36'-0" OD x 38'-0" Stave Length, 250,000 US Gallons Net Note: These tanks can also be cut in half making two tanks from each, 36'-0" OD x 19'-0" Stave Length with a net capacity of 120,000 US gallons. They can be re-headed or open top.

Staves & Head: 6" nominal thickness Clear All Heart Dense Vertical Grain Tank Grade Douglas Fir of one or multipiece glue laminated construction. Bottom: 8" nominal thickness Clear All Heart Dense Vertical Grain Tank Grade Douglas Fir of one or multipiece glue laminated construction. Head Supports: Designed for 225 PSF total load. Glue laminated beams on top of the head, 8x10 bolt rails below head. All hardware 316 S.S. Cline Joists: 8-3/4" x 10-1/2" glue laminated chine joists at 24" o.c. designed to sit on pier walls spaced at 4'-0" o.c. Seismic restraint hold-down system provided. Ladder: Galvanized steel caged ladder with mid height platform, galvanized railing and wood deck on head surrounding 3'-0" x 3'-0" top hatch. Drain: 316L S.S. scupper and downspouts Fittings: (7) Type 316L stainless steel fittings with hoop connection where required: 24" Tank Access Manway 12" Overflow 6" Top Instrument Port 4" Top Vent12" Bottom Nozzle 12" Top Inlet 8" Top Inlet Wood Treatment: All tank wood, support beams and joists are pressure treated with 0.25 Pentachlorophenol in solvent
